Deputy Prime Minister Say Sam Al, overseeing the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, has urged leaders and officials to maintain and enhance efficiency in their endeavors. Specifically, he directed efforts towards expediting the registration of land to provide legal titles promptly, ensuring confidence and efficiency for the people.

During a recent meeting on livelihood issues chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Say Sam Al, the progress of cadastral and geographical work in land management, urban planning, and land dispute resolution was reviewed. This comprehensive assessment aimed to steer efforts in the right direction within the ministry.

Efforts by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction have yielded significant results. Over 6.9 million land titles have been issued to individuals, covering nearly 99.2% of the initial estimated plots across various regions in the country. This accomplishment underscores the commitment to providing legal recognition of land ownership to citizens.

The ministry has actively engaged in resolving land disputes, successfully settling thousands of cases out of the total complaints received. With over 11,000 cases resolved, the ongoing efforts demonstrate a dedication to ensuring fair and timely resolutions for affected parties.

Deputy Prime Minister Say Sam Al emphasized the importance of proactive measures in land, river, and sea management. Collaborative initiatives with inter-ministerial partners aim to establish unified mapping systems and accelerate the registration of state-owned land. Additionally, partnerships with professional organizations are being fostered to streamline registration processes.

Acknowledging the need for efficient document management, the deputy prime minister called for the establishment of a national file database. This initiative aims to store relevant documents systematically, facilitating easier access and retrieval for administrative purposes.
