In a significant development for Cambodia's cashew industry, Intersnack, a key player in the European snack market, has committed to purchasing dried cashew products from the Cambodian Agricultural Cooperative Corporation (CACC).
A recent agreement signed between CACC, Intersnack, and Agricultural Cooperatives from Preah Vihear Province marks a milestone in promoting Cambodian cashews globally.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) outlines plans for the supply of dried cashew nuts, with representatives from all parties, including Kan Kunthy of CACC and Wim Schipper of Intersnack, sealing the deal.
The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of key figures such as Mey Kalyan and Thon Sorita, signaling broad support for the initiative from both government and industry stakeholders.
