A senior Cambodian official has hailed this generous assistance as a pivotal step towards fortifying the already strong ties and cooperation between the two nations. This contribution aligns seamlessly with the joint commitment outlined in the "China-Cambodia Community with a Shared Future in the New Era."
Deputy Prime Minister Vongsey Vissoth, responsible for the Council of Ministers, alongside Zhong Jie, an adviser at the Chinese embassy in Phnom Penh, formalized the agreement for the renovation project on March 4. This initiative underscores China's consistent support for Cambodia across various domains, in adherence to the shared vision of fostering a closely-knit China-Cambodia community.
